DeKalb High School Mixed A Cappella: Enharmonic Fusion

Enharmonic Fusion is the Mixed A Cappella Ensemble at DeKalb High School.  The Ensemble was formed in 2010 as a composite of the Fly Check and The Grace Notes a cappella ensembles.

In their first year they competed in the ICHSA and advanced as a Wild Card Entry to the National Finals in New York City.

In 2012 they placed 2nd in the ICHSA Midwest Semi-Finals and received awards for Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Student Arrangement (Harrison Hintzsche).  They advanced to the ICHSA National Finals as a Wild Card Entry.  This marked the second time in three years Enharmonic Harmonic Fusion advanced to the finals, and was the fourth time since 2007 that a DeKalb High School A Cappella Ensemble has been a national finalist.

Enharmonic Fusion was also honored in 2012 to perform as the host ensemble for a ICCA (collegiate) Midwest Quarterfinal.  DeKalb was one of only two high schools in the nation that year to have this distinction.
